I've been having some discussions recently with my friend Lynne about which airline is worse...
Fly (may) be
or
Easyjet (why do they wear orange?)
I reckon flybe is the pits, following a disasterous journey to Southampton recently.
Lynne reckons Easyjet is worse, following her stressful journey to Belfast recently, coupled with her frustrations over scrumming for seats.
I thought I'd give you fine people the chance to vote (Joseph / Big Brother style).
Just add a comment, and let me know which you think is worse, and why!
And if you have any nominations for a worse airline (is it possible?), please feel free to vent your spleen!
Over to you...

Never flown fly (may)be, only flown squezzy jet twice, up and down to London. Both flights pretty much on time, so can't complain.
Nothing can compare with the true horror that is Air France!
I have travelled with all the budget airlines, and even their worst moments of customer service do not plummet the depths of gross incompetence coupled with callous indifference which is Air France's daily bread and butter.
I wrote and complained, of course. Their reply said, that unfortunately they do not enter into customer correspondance regarding complaints. In other words a 300-word-long gallic-shrug.
The whole sorry organisation should be consigned to the third circle of Dante's inferno.
(Well you did say ranting was allowed)
Yeah Air France aren't great - I've flown with them twice and they lost my luggage once, although to be fair I had had to transfer planes and had had to run through Charles de Gualles to make the connection! We're flying with them in the summer so hopefully they'll be ok.
I vote for Easyjet as the worst (shock!) but this is a fairly irrational dislike based on them not assigning seat numbers and the fact that they fly to the international airport in Belfast which is 45 minutes away from my house as opposed to flybe who fly to the city which is 10 minutes away :)
I love that this has become the subject of an opinion poll!
I've never used Fly (may)be, but have used Easyjet a lot. I've never had any real problems with them, until my sister booked her flight from Liverpool to Belfast and then about a month before she was due to go was diagnosed with cancer. I phoned up (as I had booked it) and asked for a refund. They wouldn't give her one because she didn't have travel insurance. I said she booked the flight unawares of what was going on inside her body and there is no way she will be able to fly. She said "she can transfer it and use it within the next 6 months", I said "she's going to be having chemotherapy and radiotherapy over the next 8 months. They still wouldn't budge. I gave the woman a load of verbal abuse (I did not compromise my faith, you understand, but I was incredibly angry and upset) and told her to tell her manager that he was heartless.
Sorry, it was a long rant, but the moral is always get travel insurance, because you don't know what's round the corner.
One consolation, they did give the tax back, which they are allowed to do. Very kind!!!
I have flown with Air France before and they also lost our luggage.
Love Pauline
